craving for parmasian cheese
I am most greatful for being able to learn more about computers in my computer science class.
dogs, I often like to touch them.
different pictures of skiing
lenaring more about Cyber Security
I keep dreaming about visiting my first imaginary house that I created when I was 7. It had 28 floors.
I feel like I've tried pretty much everything, but am avoiding silkes. I'm not even sure if I can eat them!
I am very grateful to have been able to experience having an internship.
I'd like to go to Celtic Colours, a folk festival in Nova Scotia, Canada.
My spirit animal would be a surf scoter. It's a type of large duck found in the US and Canada, and it's very clever: it can pretend to play dead when it's not. But mainly I just love the name.
Grilled cheese with Louisiana hot sauce and garlic
I would design a float of all sorts of different birds flying together.
I found a Web site called Mainly Norfolk, which specializes in English folk songs. Every song posted has an index number, as well as a list of the people who have recorded it throughout history. Sometimes you'll even see information about the liner notes of records, or comments about the songs made by more recent singers.
I tried out some new clubs at school. I know that most of you are no longer in school, but where we live, there is so much to do. Pick something and find a group! And if it doesn't work out, just try something else!
Don’t have a particular earworm to share. Depends on what phrase in the day triggers a song - usually a church song, especially “God is Calling Me” when someone’s cell phone goes off in church or in school.
Traveling around a futuristic city trying to find someone I used to know....different person, same environment.
Still and forever holding out on silkes. Yeccch!
Daina, Rūta and Liana being awesome!
Laumžirgis (dragonfly) I love how they fly, love the lietuviška name visual, and they’re totally badass bug eaters.
...technically not food - peach soju.
A science lab with lots of interesting beakers, flasks and specimens
FlipaClip lets you create digital flipbooks
I really need to get out more........Sad!
I am at work. I don’t have the list of patients. I am at school and I have no idea what classes to go to. Seems like a lack of control issue.
I grew up having to eat everything, so I have had it all.
That Petro surgery was successful. Vejas and Petras continue to follow their passions. Health
The northern lights, luminescence bay
I had to read about this. It is not what one wants to be, but allegedly what has shown up in life randomly, to remind one of something. Based on that definition, it would be some kind of bird or a dragonfly.
crunchy corn kernels at a Peruvian sushi restaurant
Jellyfish, underwater magic
Being an elf on the Santa float. Very, very, big fun.
I finally found a job that allows me to do electrical design rather than event planning and does not require work on weekends.
To live by the ocean again.
Grizzly bear. I love the photos of grizzly bears standing in a stream. They open their mouths and salmon just jump in. Sushi!
Pancake in a mug. Mix pancake mix and water in a cup. Nuke. Voila! Pancake in a mug.
A tribute to Lithuanian folk dancing. It would have a stage with sokejai and be covered with juostas made of flowers.
Google calendar. I know, it’s just a calendar app. But it works really great between my computer and cell phone. I used to have several paper calendars. Now I have everything in one place.
There was one week this year where I actually caught up with sleep, was no longer sleep deprived. It was awesome! I had energy and clarity of mind. I would highly recommend to everyone!
Little Drummer Boy. For how much I avoid trying to hear it, I can’t help but having it get stuck in my head! ( still in LDB as of noon 12/19)
Recently tsunamis. A tsunami sucks me out to sea, I grab my surfboard or PFD on my way flowing out my big front windows, and float all the way to Catalina.
Vinegretas. Possibly had a polite bite or two, but secretly still need convincing. Used to get away with Močiutes because she would make egg mushrooms for Daina and I.
The ocean. I’ve been on, at, or near it all year and I’m still not over how beautiful, powerful, and mysterious it is.
Find a hot spring. Either wintertime with snow around, or mid summer with long nights watching the meteor showers and taking a long soak after a long hike.
Portuguese Man o’ war. It’s a siphonophore ( not true jellyfish) with a sail. Perhaps not a spirit animal, but the animal I’d be tricked into if I met an old sea spirit and wished to sail the rest of my life.
Sprouted cashew nuts. Introduced by Teta Rasa, foraged for by me at the Laguna Farmers Market, improved by Liana with a delicious roasting recipe.
The most decked out, glamorous, sparkly street sweeping machine ever. It would go last and would actually sweep the confetti too. At intersections it would open up as a transformer that would have a full musical number about saving turtles and shaming any litterers nearby.
Windsurfing! Not as hard as it looks, faster and less work than SUP*! Wind required though.
*SUP = Stand-Up Paddleboarding
I’ve had this one about being in a big house, often with a crowd of people (but never the same cast of characters), and knowing or finding this hidden passageway that leads to an epic stage/auditorium room. It is sometimes paired with another recurring element of giant, warm swimming pools, sometimes several pools on grassy terraces. The best ones are when I discover I can breathe underwater and go “flying” in these pools.
Silkes: ain’t gonna do it, no sir, no how. And Kopustai. Was a holdout on the green jello for the longest time.
I’m grateful for all the lessons I’ve been learning as my art space business continues to grow. I’m so happy to finally live in my “dream loft” at the Brewery, something I’ve wanted since I moved to LA. And most of all, I’m ridiculously grateful for the friends and family that have helped me get through this particularly challenging year — nothing is insurmountable with the right tools and some helping hands.
Take a month completely off the “communications” grid — no texts, no emails, no Facebook. Just, ya know, to see what it’s like to not be on call to work and society 24/7.
Definitely a cat… curious but also lazy; friendly and playful, but also likes to disappear alone into a cozy place for hours; can survive on processed food but prefers something rich and tasty; guarded and aloof sometimes, dopey and ridiculous the rest of the time.
Homemade tomato soup made with Asian spices like cinnamon and anise instead of traditional Italian ones, topped with a swirl of coconut cream.
A surreal desert-scape with an orange moon, pink and purple cactuses, and blue mountains with strange Adventure Time style characters wandering the landscape
Go to a farmer’s market and cook something with what you find there (thanks, Ruta). Oh, and: GO SEE TOKYO.
I have sailing recurring dreams where I’m sailing on a boat but I take the wrong turn and I’m stuck on the 405 in traffic balanced on the keel. Another one is that whales come alongside the boat and beckon me to go with them but I miss the chance because I am trying to pack too many things or someone stops me.
longest holdout: cold mushrooms and cucumber salad- are them last year for the first time. still holding out : vinegrettas, silkes
I’m grateful for stronger family bonds, the incredible opportunities and adventures I’ve been on, and the incredible and vast nature that is yet to be explored!
Go see the Northern lights and see a live volcano. Sail on Maiden again. Pet a deer and a chinchilla.
Tropic Bird - on the big pacific voyage they were always near the boat the entire way back. They’re some of the sleekest engineered looking birds I’ve seen and they fly like dogfighter Star Wars planes.
Guava and papaya - never tried them before and ate a ton of them in Hawaii
A steampunk dirigible or a bunch of giant carnivorous plants
I really really enjoyed the Hawaii delivery but I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone. I would recommend snorkeling and fishing though! And rock climbing! And visiting Idaho/ Wyoming for the nature, snow, and amazing calmness.
Haven't had a recurring dream since I quit smoking in my 20's. When I was a kid I had a recurring dream that I was a railroad engineer driving a train over a cliff and when I woke up from the dream, I had fallen out of bed. It was the same dream and same result every time.
I'm not one to hold out against food generally, and Kucios food specifically.
I'm grateful to be alive and whole, and try to look at "misfortunes" and "problems" as something to be thankful for. Someday I won't have any problems - on my last day! I'm also grateful to live in these times rather than ancient or any other times. It's an unbelievable stroke of luck to have been born human, and to have been born in the USA. It doesn't get any better!
Can't say I've tried a new food lately, all the old ones are so good. Not into trying any weird foods any more.
I'd hand off the Rose Bowl Parade to someone who could do it justice. It would be something for kids probably, or something regarding freedom and not entitlement. I'm not intersested in forcing the rest of the world to adopt my views.
Haven't found any website so great that it's worth sharing. The whole techy thing is way overrated. It's much more importhant to be real than virtual.
A great new experience is to help a family that is down and DESERVES help than helping merely to be altruistic. To help personally than to an organization that will use those funds to run the organization and its emkployees. The help I gave was mostly monetary (bills) and homework assistance and an occaisional fun outing. There are many things that I would do differently the next time around, but it is entirely up to you how you help. "Sojourner, there is no path. You must find your own way"
if you dare…) Ahhhhhh!!!!! The Cat Came Back Ahhhhhh!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!!
Rare, but oy! … Driving up an opening drawbridge & hitting vertical… (yikes); but one of my coolest dreams was when I was about 5 years old, I dreamt in 3D color cartoon of a proud & powerful stallion rearing it’s legs on mountain cliff (that was before 3D cartoons were invented!)
Family, Health, that Petro cochlear implant is working so well, & new experiences
I’ve been wanting to become a Volunteer Adaptive Ski Instructor (“☑️” ) & to see the Northern Lights
Most definitely a small to medium-sized Dragon (with shape-shifting capacities)
Mmmm… Dried Mango (the pure kind with no added sugar or flavorings), Bullet-Proof Coffee, & my newest discovery: Real Persimmons (the whole fruit, not dried ;-) 👍
A mess?…: (Seriously… you don’t want me designing a parade float 😬)
